Welcome to the Masson Caving Group Website.

Based in the Derbyshire Peak District we are an active caving club founded in 1979. We welcome all standards of cavers to our community and run specific trips for both novice and experienced cavers.

Our cavers are able to provide you with the basic training to get underground and we hold in-house training events to take get you from basic skills to single rope technique (SRT) to let you explore the more complex systems. Joining us is very easy, just complete the form on the joining page and someone will contact you with further details on how you can progress.

With regular trips on offer as well as the occasional visit to neighbouring counties and cave systems there is something for everyone! If you ever wondered what lurks below why not get in touch and we will take you along one of our trips. We are a fairly dynamic club and conduct our trips via WhatsApp, so once you have joined this is how we keep members informed of the various trips on offer.
