This was a great club turnout with 11 members meeting at the mine for a guided trip by the Good Luck Mine Preservation Club. We were taken on a journey, back in time, through the extensive workings of the mine. The mine has been preserved and extended by a dedicated group of enthusiasts. They have painstakingly recovered several miles of passages that would have been otherwise have remained lost. The trip explored a few “off limits’ areas and were shown one of the current ongoing projects. On the return trip we were treated to a small ‘dram’ of whisky from the bar.
