Welcome to the Masson Caving Group Website.

Based in the Derbyshire Peak District we are an active caving club founded in 1979. We welcome new people to the hobby and serious cavers alike.

Our cavers are able to provide you with the basic training to get underground and we hold in-house training events to make get you from basic skills to single rope technique (SRT) to let you explore the more complex systems.

With regular trips on offer as well as the occasional visit to neighbouring counties and cave systems there is something for everyone! If you ever wondered what lurks below why not get in touch and we will take you along one of our trips.
